Collected during the 60's and part of the former collection of Paul Gardissat in Port Vila this ceremonial spear from Northwestern Malekula island in Vanuatu (Big Nambas people) probably date back 1940, rigid bamboo shaft and overmodeled wooden foreshaft strongly attached with vegetale fiber.Length : 220 cm / 86.5 inch
