Standing pregnant ancestor figure collected from the Melawi tribes of central Borneo.
This Hampatong "Tajahan" erected close to the familial house along with an other male figure to commemorate a deceased relatives, carved from a single piece of
ironwood with minor crack
on the top and remnant of old paint. Height : 122 cm / 48 inch
