Powerful Dayak female ancestor figure
"Hampatong"
collected from the Ot Danum tribes of west Borneo, such statues were
erected near the main house to commemorate a deceased relative
and protect the family against malevolent spirits and decease, strong weathered lichen patina from age due to more than a century under the
heavy tropical rains of Borneo.Height : 92 cm / 36 inches
